He was Founder Director of ‘Institute of Religion and Culture’ at Ujjain and National Director of ‘Commission for Religious Harmony’ at CBCI (National Association of Catholic Christian Community), New Delhi, and Editor of half-yearly multi-faith journal ‘Fellowship’.

He holds Ph.D. in Hindi Literature on ‘Kabeer and Christian Philosophy’ from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has done Pradhma, Madhyama and B. Mus. (7 years) in Hindustani Classical Music from Indira Kala Music University, Khairagarh. He holds B.Th. in Christianity and Comparative Religion from Urban University, Rome, as well.

He is scholar of religion, religions and harmony among religions as well as Kabeer, Christianity, education, cross-cultural perspectives, interfaith relations and social themes. He is a versatile thinker, writer, speaker, professor, editor, linguist, musician, religious leader, and most of all, a harmony and peace activist.

His area of expertise covers also constitutional values, values of all scriptures and religions, social ethics, inclusive society, composite culture, human rights, national integration, social harmony and current concerns. He engages profusely with a wide range of people in all communities, sectors and walks of life. He has an experience of over 35 years in the above areas, at local, regional, national and international levels.

He has lectured at over 100 universities and colleges and has conducted one-day seminars for school teachers of diverse communities in some 30 cities of the country. He has also been Examiner of Ph.D. students at a few and Visiting Professor at several universities.

Further, he has addressed some 250 research conferences, delivered some 60 keynote lectures, special lectures at some 50 Christian seminaries and institutes and nearly 1200 multi-faith and civil programmes and has been to some 50 instances of views and interviews on TV channels, thus making a total of nearly 2000 appearances on platforms.

In addition, he has to his credit nearly 300 articles on diverse themes in Hindi and English, by way of publications. What’s more, he is a recipient of 18 awards and certificates of honour for his outstanding contribution to literature, communal harmony, culture, social service, peace, etc.

Kabeer aur Eesaayee Chintan and Moolya Bible Ke are two of his award-winning books, from Hindi Academy, Delhi, and Indian Catholic Press Association, respectively. Fellowship of Religions and Desh Ek, Ek Hein Hum Sab are two books in the press. Samanvay Dhaara and Moolya Bible Ke are two of his music albums on ‘multi-faith values’ and ‘values of the Bible’, in that order.
